Chapter Five

Sloan hated punishing his pet, but he’d been too lenient on Conall over the last few months.

Conall hadn’t needed true punishment until now, though. At first, Sloan put it down to his trauma of being taken. Men twice Conall’s size had crumbled under the stress and fear of kidnappings, but Conall had been strong. Maybe too strong. Sloan thought it hadn’t affected his pet as much as he expected it to, so he let it go, but it made sense that Conall acted out his trauma through retaliation.

Did his pet blame Sloan for Toscani taking him?

The thought created emotions inside Sloan he hadn’t felt since he was a kid. Guilt. Pain. He’d taught himself not to feel those things. The Killough Company relied on his emotionless decisions, yet Conall brought out a side of him that others would consider a weakness. He couldn’t let his enemies, or associates, see that side of him.

So when he got Conall home to the large Chateau-style mansion located directly on the channel of Hibiscus Island, he didn’t give him time to fully explore the place in wonder. He grabbed him and dragged him into the house, ignoring Rosita’s greeting and Fionn’s attempt to catch his attention.

Sloan hauled him up the curved, white staircase and down the long hallway that led to the master bedroom—Sloan’s bedroom. Conall didn’t protest. The one positive trait about Conall was that he pushed Sloan’s limits, but he also knew when to keep his mouth shut. Something a couple of his former pets didn’t have.

Sloan’s room was third on the left, and he threw open the oak door. Conall went stumbling into the bedroom when Sloan pitched him into it. When he was inside, Sloan locked the door before turning toward his prey.

Conall hovered near the bed, licking his lips nervously as his gaze darted from the two windows in the room to the door. “What are you going to do with me?”

The fear in his eyes wasn’t real, the need mixed in with it told Sloan that. Conall wanted this as much as he did.

“I’m going to fuck you, pet. Use your hole for my own pleasure. I’m going to breed you and leave you on my bed, hard and unsatisfied because you’re not going to come until I tell you to.” Sloan slowly slipped out of his boat shoes. “You’re not going to come today. Or tomorrow. This is your punishment. You’re not going to come until I’m satisfied with your apology.”

He danced his fingers down his shirt before he curved them around the hem, raising it over his head to reveal the expanse of muscles that he worked hard on.

Conall swallowed, his eyes following the movements of Sloan’s hands. “I’m sorry.”

Sloan laughed. “Oh no, that’s not going to work.”

He stepped closer, but Sloan shook his head.

“Stay there, pet. You’ve forgotten who the boss is, and I need to remind you.”

“I haven’t,” Conall protested weakly. Then he winced and touched his pierced nipple through his shirt, playing with it.
